Plastic Phones

I thought that today I'd do things a little differently.  As many of you know, I spend 9 hours a day, 5 days a week, at my job.  My job is great, and I love it, but it doesn't quite fill my need for dressing up in pretty things or wearing heels and dresses.  Most days I wear khaki pants and a polo shirt (my actual required uniform) or jeans and a nice sweater, or a polo.  Most days I either go straight from work to rehearsal, or I have about an hour in between to go home and eat dinner.  Either way, it doesn't leave much time for me to change my clothes between work and play (or more work, depending on the day).

This leads to creative dressing.  Usually, in order to switch outfits for rehearsal, I simply throw on tights and a skirt in place of my khakis or jeans.  That is exactly what I did on Monday.  So, instead of my regular outfit posts, I thought I'd share with you what I wore to work, and then what I wore to rehearsal.

Work outfit:

Sweater :: Target // Jeans :: Levi Curve ID (Supreme Curve) // Bracelets :: Birchbox, and Thrifted

Rehearsal Outfit:

As you can see, I changed up my look by swapping out the jeans and sneakers, and throwing on a skirt, tights, belt, and heels.  I also took off my pink Birchbox bracelet, since it no longer connected to the pink cami I had on earlier.

I've recently gotten into wearing pull-over sweaters.  For a really long time I didn't own a single one, and now I have 4.  They're so cozy, and they look super cute and preppy paired with my work polo shirts.  And how great is this yellow color?  I found this at Target the other night and instantly fell in love with the color of it.  Perfect for fall and winter.

Skirt :: Old Navy // Tights :: We Love Colors // Shoes :: Mia Girl (via DSW) // Bracelet :: Thrifted // Belt :: Charlotte Russe

I hope everyone has a great day!
