EBEW: Picture Window

Did you all miss me?  No need to answer, I'm sure you did.  I have a bucket load of excuses for my absence, but I'll fill everyone in later.  Just know that it involves lots of work, a breathing disorder, a stalker, moving, moving again, and losing my job.  It's been a crazy month here, friends.  But I'm going to try to post more regularly.  Starting today, with this months Everybody Everywear challenge.

This month's challenge is black and white.  I'm definitely not one to usually wear black and white.  I prefer to mix black and brown, or navy.  Or white and brown.  But black and white is really harsh.  I actually cheated a little, because this skirt is more of an ivory/cream color than white.  I found it today at Goodwill for $1.50. It's absolutely gorgeous and flowy and I'm in love with it.  Did I mention it was only $1.50?  Because it was.

I definitely prefer this outfit without the sweater.  Even though it's been obscenely warm here the past week, it's not no-sweater warm.  It's been in the 50s everyday for about a week.  For January in Duluth, that's completely ridiculous.  But it was kind of nice today walking around in just a sweater, and not having to deal with a coat.  I'm not looking forward to the day when the weather gets ahold of itself and goes back to normal.

Also, how great are these shoes?  They're Missoni for Target and I also found them at Goodwill today.  They are a size to big, but I couldn't pass them up. So I have to wear socks with them and stuff the toes with tissues.  No shame.
