I must admit, I don't love these photos. But I think they turned out pretty alright considering it was freezing cold and windy. And I'm still using my old camera because I keep forgetting to charge the battery of my regular one! I'm a very forgetful person sometimes.
Took these photos on my lunch break from jury duty, in the Playhouse parking lot. I like the view of the lake and the freeway behind me. I got lots of interesting stares from people as I was taking photos, though. I know a lot of bloggers that are really self-conscious about that, but I've kind of gotten used to it. If I worried about people watching me while I take photos, I would be posting about half as many outfits as I do.
You may be noticing something new about me today. That's right, I'm wearing glasses! Okay, so that's not really new because I've had glasses since the 5th grade. I got contact lenses in the 7th grade, and have hardly worn my glasses since then. Anyway, I was very much overdue for a new pair of lenses because the ones I had were from 2005, and my face has grown since then. So Wednesday evening my mom and I went to Lenscrafters and she bought me a new pair of glasses for my birthday (which is Saturday, in case anyone has forgotto). I love them! They're Burberry, and they came with a super cute Burberry case (with the classic pattern on it.) I will definitely be wearing these more often now. They're very chic and classic and versatile.
I suppose I should say something about this outfit. I'm not really sure how it came about, to be honest. I was looking for something conservative enough for jury duty, and that also went with my glasses. I got this sweater on whim when my mom and I were at the mall. It's from Sears! Can you believe it? It's super cute and cozy and I love it.

On a completely new note, how does everyone feel about my doing makeup posts? I'm not going to pretend to be some kind of makeup genius or anything, but there are a few things I would enjoy sharing with everyone! Reviews and what not. Let me know what you guys think!
