The Perfect Space

Didn't I promise you photos?  Yes, I did.  And here I deliver!

It's been a really crazy couple of weeks in Kate life, friends, and this next week is only going to get crazier.  I start training for my new job at the Y today; we start filming for the new movie tomorrow; I have jury duty next week (ugh!); we open The Fantasticks! next week; I interview for the manager position at my current job (video rental store) next week; and my folks are out of town so I'm in charge of walking the dogs and keeping them company.  So I'll try to get as many posts in there as possible, but bear with me if it's not always possible.

I love this outfit.  A lot.  I specifically asked Jason to take photos of this one because I love it so much.  I'm wearing a couple of things I don't wear often at all: shoes and skirt, which is actually a dress.  In fact, I'm actually wearing two dresses in this outfit.  Talk about remixing!  This top is a super adorable, lightweight chambray dress from a.n.a, and this skirt is a thrifted dress from Old Navy that I got as a gift.  I really love the print on the Old Navy dress, but the top doesn't fit me at all!  It's much too large (it's size XS!) for my chest and gaps like crazy.  But I love the way it looks as as skirt and I feel a little silly for not having thought of it before.
