Envelopes of Glassine

As you can see, these photos were taken on a beautiful day.  It was 70 degrees and so sunny.  Unfortunately, yesterday it snowed again and today, while it's sunny, it's around 30 degrees.  Just a few days ago, I could sit outside in a tank top and be completely comfortable, and today I had to wear my fall jacket.  Ish.  That's Duluth weather for you, though.

Have you guys heard of Stitch Fix?  I just found out about it a couple of weeks ago and got my first box on Thursday.  How it works is you sign up and fill out a little survey about your style like what you usually wear, and what you want to wear more of.  Then, they send you a box of 5 specially selected items that fit your criteria.  It's really cool!  So you get the box, try each item on, and send back what didn't fit or what you didn't like and keep the others!  You pay $20 for the box, but if you keep an item you get a $20 credit toward it.

This top was in my very first box and I love it.  I got two dresses, two tops, and a pair of shorts in my box.  I was seriously debating which one of the two tops to keep, but I decided to go with this one from BB Dakota.  It was cheaper and I think it fits my style really well.  So I sent back the other four items (because I cannot afford to buy more than one!) and I paid for this one.  It's a really cool system.  Interested?  Check out Stitch Fix!

This is one of my favorite outfits.  I love the colors and shapes.  This skirt is one of my favorites, but I don't wear it very often.  I really like how the stripes in the skirt echo the chevron-y pattern in the top.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday!

  1. Very cute outfit for a warm day! We had the same thing happen down here in the Cities, though we didn't get the snow like you guys did.

I have heard of Stitch Fix on a couple of other blogs and am getting more and more curious about it. Might have to check it out!
