I will now present you with the very first photos ever taken with my new tripod! I'm very excited about this. Before now, I would have to find something to set my camera on in order to take photos. Now, I can go wherever I want! So, for the occasion, I went to this little cement clearing near my house.
I walked by this clearing everyday of middle school on my walk home. I'm not sure what it was used for. It seems like now they just kind of keep dirt piles here, as you can see. If anyone in Duluth has any idea what this is about, please fill me in. Anyway, I've always thought it was kind of a neat space. Perfect for my first photos with the tripod.

I'm psyched to finally be able to pull this dress out of the closet. Most of my dresses are versatile enough to wear in the winter as well as the summer, which is wonderful. But I do have a few that are pretty strictly "winter" dresses (I'm looking at you, long-sleeved, velvet mini-dress) or "summer" dresses, like the one above. It's always really great to be able to pull out the summer dresses for the first time. I would also like to point out that all of my jewelry is thrifted. I'm pretty excited about that.
