I thought I'd try my hand at using props today, friends. Maybe it will make my photos more interesting. So, I grabbed the book I'm currently reading. I read it in high school, but want to read it again now when I can understand it better. You may have heard of it; it's called The Great Gatsby. It's kind of famous. Also, the colors on the cover match my outfit almost exactly. It was weird having something to hold, though. I didn't really know what to do with it. I must need more practice.
After my post yesterday, I felt like I should wear more bright colors. So I pulled out this sweater and these tights. This outfit looks so much more springy and fun. Not that I dislike the outfit from yesterday, this one is just more colorful and doesn't blend in with my background nearly as much.
This skirt is a little bit of a problem for me. I love the fabric and the cut, but it's so short! I just can't get behind how short it is. I think I might have to make myself a grey, knit circle skirt and retire this one.
I'm excited to have gotten back into blogging regularly. There were a few months there when I feel like I had no time to blog at all. Now that I no longer have a full-time job (while it sucks for my income) I have more time to take photos and post cute outfits. I guess I just can't ever get another full-time job as long as I have this blog. Sorry, Mom.
