This outfit is from Monday, and it's what I wore for my first day at Black Market. The job is really growing on me, actually. I wasn't super thrilled with it after the first day or so, but I had a lot of fun today. Kailee, who is also training with me, and I got to change up the displays today, which was a lot of fun. We worked together really well and put together some really cute outfits. It was awesome. The rest of the day was pretty dull, though. Now, I have a couple hours off until I go to work at Lazlo's for my very last training shift. I'm so anxious to be done training and just be on my own. It's irritating always having someone watching what you're doing. It makes me question myself, even if I know what I'm doing is right.
I'm really enjoying both of my jobs so far, but I'm not loving how much standing I have to do. I have really flat feet and, even with arch supports, my hips start to hurt after too long on my feet. I'm sure I'll get used to it at some point, but right now my feet and hips hate me.
My mom bought me this dress when she was in town this past weekend. She read my post the other day about how I don't have many summer dresses and how that makes it hard to get dressed. Then, we were at Target, and she offered to buy me a new one. She's so thoughtful! I fell in love with the purple and the print on this dress. I love purple. In fact, now that I think about it, I've worn purple every day for the past 3 days. Wow. I think I might have a problem.
Hindsight - These shoes were not the best choice for work. Granted, I'm pretty sure my feet would have been killing me by the end of the day, anyway, but these did not help. I'll probably still wear them, though.
