Bulu Box: September

Morning friends! I know it's been a little while since I posted. It's been a pretty busy week with the game day on Saturday and my birthday yesterday. I haven't had a lot of chances to take photos or actually post anything. I've also been getting back into going to the gym. I was seriously lacking motivation last week, but I'm doing better this week!

Anyway, last week I received my monthly Bulu Box in the mail. If you're not familiar with Bulu Box, it's a subscription service for health supplements and things. I really like it, but after this month I'm debating trying one of the other boxes out there instead. This month just didn't do it for me at all, and they accidentally gave me a couple of products that weren't vegan, which was very frustrating. There's an option when you sign up to specify if you need the box to be vegan or whatever you're dietary need is, so why I don't understand why they sent me non-vegan products.

This is what it looks like opened up. They usually give you 5 samples, plus some sort of coupon for something else.  I do like that they include a piece of paper that has each sample on it and a place to write down how you felt before you used it and how you felt after.

First sample - Erba Vita Propolis. This is a syrup that is supposed to help your immune system and respiratory tract. I haven't tried this, but the word "syrup" has me a little cautious.

BSN AMINOx. I think this is like a post-workout drink powder. The flavor is watermelon, which I'm not that excited about.

Simple Being Slimming Smoothie. This actually looks kind of good. I haven't tried it yet, either, but out of everything in this months box it seems to be the one thing that I would actually use. Unfortunately, it has whey protein in it, which is milk. So that's out.

PacificHealth Labs Body Glove Surge Shot. This one isn't vegan, either. It also has milk protein in it. I actually was going to use this one morning, I think, and opened it up and realized that I couldn't actually use it, so that was annoying.

Thirty30 Enliven.  This is like an energy supplement, I think.  I might actually use this one sometime, but I'm not sure.  Maybe before the gym one day.

So this was the coupon in this months box. I will most certainly not be using it. The idea of an Omega-3 gel supplement is very off-putting. I can kind of get behind the concept, but it's just not for me, I think.

I was pretty disappointed by this month's Bulu box.  I think I might give them one more shot before I pull the plug.  I really liked the months prior to this, so that makes me think that this one was just a dud.  Though, if they keep sending me non-vegan samples, I'll definitely stop subscribing.

  2. I was disappointed as well with mine! I received a lot of the same things - and none of them made me SUPER excited to try them. =(
