Mind Eraser

Yes, I'm still alive.  Just took a little mini blog hiatus.  I've been so busy lately with working two jobs, and now I start classes in a week so I'll be even busier.  Hopefully I can get a better handle on juggling everything, and this blog, but obviously work and school are more important.  Sorry, friends, that's just how it is.  (Unless someone wants to pay me big bucks to keep this blog thing going.  I'd gladly be a full-time blogger.)

I'm currently sitting in the Minneapolis airport waiting for my parents' flight to get in.  I got on a plane from Lincoln this morning at 6am (gross!) and we're headed to California for a little family reunion/memorial service.  My parents and brother are flying from Duluth to Minneapolis and we're meeting here to continue our trip.  My flight here went well, but the little boy behind me was sure that we were going to die.  I think it might have been his first time on a plane.

What else is there to catch everyone up on?  I've basically just been working a lot recently.  And hanging out with new friends, which has been nice.  I'm starting to meet some new people through work and spending time with them occasionally.  I feel like I'm starting to kind of find my way here, which is awesome.

Should we talk about this outfit?  It's from about a week ago (bad blogger!) and I just wore it to work at The Black Market.  I've been on the hunt for a lightweight yellow skirt for a while now, so when I saw this one at Goodwill I instantly fell in love.  I had to shorten it quite a bit, and it is REALLY sheer, but I love it.  It will be perfect for the really hot Nebraska days.

Not much else to say, I guess.  I'm just hanging out until my parents' flight lands, and then we'll probably get some breakfast or something.  We have first class seats on our next flight, so I'm pretty excited about that.
